PLAYER AGE REQUIREMENTS
Boys and girls of the appropriate ages are eligible to participate in Alpine Little League. A player's Little League age can be determined using this tool: Little League baseball age tool.
PLAYER RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS
The national Little League organization requires players to meet certain residence conditions to be eligible for a particular Little League program. The Menlo Park-Atherton area has three active Little League programs (Alpine Little League, M-A Little League, and Ravenswood Little League).
There are two main ways to establish residency - by resident address or school attendance.
Resident Address:
Please follow the link below to see if you reside within the boundary area for Alpine Little League Baseball. Little League Finder tool. Please note the boundaries for baseball and softball are different so sure you make the right selections in the tool.
A player will be deemed to reside within the league boundaries if:
A. His/her parents are living within the league boundaries.
B. Either of the player’s parents (or his/her court-appointed legal guardian) resides within such boundaries.
"Residence", "reside” and “residing” refers to a place of bona fide continuous habitation. A place of residence once established shall not be considered changed unless the parents, parent or guardian makes a bona fide change of residence
Residence shall be established and supported by providing a copy of ONE of the following to determine residency of such parent(s) or guardian:
Utility Bill (Water, Electric, Gas, Phone)
Cable Bill
Cell Phone Bill
Driver’s License or State ID
School Attendance:
If your player attends a school that is inside the boundary, you are eligible to play for Alpine Little League. During the registration process you will be prompted to upload a school verification form.
For Baseball, eligible schools are: Corte Madera, Hillview, La Entrada, Oak Knoll, Ormondale, Phillips Brooks, St. Raymond’s, Woodland, Woodside and Woodside Priory.
Waiver Process:
If you reside outside the boundary and do not attend one of the schools listed above, your player may be eligible for a waiver to play in Alpine Little League.
1. Change of residence - If your player has played in the Alpine Little League previously, but you have recently moved outside the boundary, please email the registrar who will assist you with registration.
2. Older siblings - If your player has older siblings that have played in Alpine Little League, please email the registrar who will assist you with registration.
